Detailed itinerary

1

Have a drink and get amazing views by visiting a bar on top of a tall building that allows you to see the Rio skyline from afar, including boats in the bay, Sugarloaf Mountain, Christ the Redeemer and a few surprises.

2

"Urca Bar" - Urca / Daily
Visit Urca Bar that combines the coldest bottled beer in Rio with tasty traditional snacks and quality of services with a privileged view on the banks of the Guanabara Bay. All that made the Bar Urca a popular meeting place to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in Rio and led to its recognition as Cultural Heritage in Rio de Janeiro, a title granted 2012.

It's included a drink and portion of snacks.

3

After having a drink seeing great views of Rio and Guanabara Bay, head to Lapa neighborhood. It’s an area known for its energetic bohemian vibe, day and nighttime. It’s the epicenter of the city's music scene, with an abundance of bars and clubs hosting local samba and forró bands.

See below four recommendations of great bars and clubs to guide you on planing your time in Lapa with our guide. It’s included in the price the entrance of one (1) club.

4

"Baródromo Bar" - Lapa Neighborhood / Tuesday to Saturday
The samba school fantasies impress at the entrance. Banners and thematic paintings are part of the decoration of the 300 square meter bar.

The first hall receives popular samba shows from Tuesday to Saturday. On the other hand, the outdoor area is aimed at those who want to snack, drink and chat without disturbing or being disturbed. The draft beer and the beers go very well with the "tapioca dices" or "moqueca" snacks.

5

"Carioca da Gema Bar" - Lapa Neighborhood / Daily

Why wait until the weekend? At the Carioca da Gema club in Lapa, there is a party every night. There, bands play samba for a small audience, but very lively. The exposed brick walls and the small stage give a cozy feeling.

It is a place for those who love to dance, but there is also an airy balcony to relax a little. If you're hungry, you can also stop by at the bar and pizza place on the first floor.

6

"Clube dos Democráticos" - Lapa Neighborhood / Monday to Saturday

"Clube dos Democráticos" is a perfect home for those who love to dance close together and show their steps around the room. No matter how many times you go back there, it will look like it stopped in time. The immense dance hall makes the visitor to travel to the beginning of the 19th century. Some may even say that the place could be renovated, but many think that this is really its charm. For the less experienced, it is worth sitting and watching the most keen couples in the dance. But don't be surprised if someone invites you to an improvised dance.

7
Stop 7

"Rio Scenarium" - Lapa / Wednesday to Sunday
A magical nineteenth century mansion known worldwide for its decoration with a wide collection of ancient furniture, objects, music and food. Visitors can enjoy excellent Brazilian music in seven different environments, spread over three floors, and taste personalized drinks with the best of the Brazilian cuisine.
