This trek and tour offers a great look at Italian life. We go to an open-air market in La Spezia, where you can purchase fresh fruit, cheeses, or focaccia. Then, we take the ferry to Palmaria and start our trek. This is one of the most exciting treks in the area. The views are amazing and off the beaten path. All I can say is come along and enjoy the beauty around you.
This day starts at 8:30 am at the Riomaggiore train station, We tour the village before starting on the trek up the hillsides. We go up in stages, so don't worry about a fast pace.
