• Patrick Henry's Pub & Grille, a unique neighborhood landmark that serves up excellent food and drink today, but the building has seen much in its 160+ years on the hill.
• An old tobacco warehouse that is now an apartment building, but once served as an Alabama hospital during the Civil War.
• Bellevue Elementary School which stands on the site of what was once a beautiful mansion during the Civil War. That mansion just so happened to be the home of one of the war's most accomplished spies.
