About this experience

This is an incredible experience of horseback riding through Playa Minas/Puerto Viejo and surrounding beaches and mountains. This experience has the unique combination of having a snorkel experience together with the thrill of galloping with our beautiful and healthy horses through the paths, beaches, and Costa Rican dirt roads.

You can't get any closer to nature while you meet your wild side horseback riding through the jungle. Monkeys, birds, snakes and marine life are just some of the animal species you might see!

What to Bring
Sunblock, bug spray, swimsuit, comfortable clothing, closed-toed shoes that can get wet, fresh clean clothes for the ride back and a towel.

Avoid the ocean crowd and take a surf lesson with us in Playa Grande National Park, a quiet, lonely and relaxing spot inside the Leather Back Turtles home. Whether you are an intermediate, advanced or beginner surfer, this is the perfect place for catching some world-class waves! The lesson will start with a 10-minute surf theory and safety instruction and the remaining time will be in the water.

Playa Grande has one of the best beach breaks in the country, so there will be waves for every level of surfer! Our local instructors know everything about this beach and will help you catch some amazing waves, gain confidence in the water, or polish your technique.
