About this experience
Ludwig the II’s life and ambitions are renown for their grandeur, intrigue, and fantasy. His unfinished masterpiece Neuschwanstein Castle, inspired the likes of the Walt Disney logo and the motion picture Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Once done at the castle we make our way to some of my favourite beer gardens and breweries where we discuss the history, culture, and tastes of Bavaria's beloved beverage; beer.

Stop 1
After a short 45 minute drive to the castle your guide will provide you with an 11:30 tour time of Neuschwanstein. Ticketing is included in the cost of the tour along with bus ticket to the Marienbrucke (if applicable) and historical tour of the castle's exterior.

We stop at a local Alpine Brewery for lunch and plenty of time for sampling

We stop at the Ettal Monastery and brewery for tour and time for samples.

We end the day at a Bavarian beer hall in Garmisch-Partenkirchen for a history of beer and complementary beer to say good-bye
