About this experience
Adventure into a side of Baja California Sur that few travelers get to experience. As you leave the turquoise blue waters and the white sandy beaches of the coastline, reach to the sky and you will discover a true natural treasure: the San Dionisio Canyon of the Sierra de la Laguna mountains. Camp San Dionisio by Panterra is situated on the ancestral lands of one of the oldest cowboy ranches in the area. It is approximately halfway between La Paz and Cabo San Lucas, on the footstep of the Tropic of Cancer. The camp is nestled in the heart of the mountains.
The San Dionisio Canyon in the Sierra de la Laguna mountains is an amazing area for exploring and a stark difference to the desert environment. The educational and cultural adventure offers guests the chance to immerse themselves in traditional Mexican ranchero culture (los vaqueros de las Californias) while enjoying all the rustic comforts of home (including a real bed).
