Walk inside the historic Ninna-ji Temple Palace, and see the craftsmanship of each building. Detailed itinerary

Meet your tour conductor either in Shinsaibashi or Umeda DT Tower, and board our comfortable, luxurious private vehicle and travel 1.2hrs from Osaka to Arashiyama, Kyoto.

Stop 2

Before entering Tenryuji, your tour conductor will hand you an entry ticket. Once inside the temple grounds, your tour conductor will walk you around the grounds and show you points of interest and share with you the history of Tenryuji, and its historical importance.

After leaving Tenryuji Temple, follow your tour conductor on foot toward Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Enjoy a walk through the tranquil and beautiful Bamboo forest and relax with the sounds of nature and ray of light peering through the tall branches of the bamboos.

Stop 4

Arashiyama Town area is where you will have your free-time and lunch break. Walk around the area and visit souvenir stores that offer trinkets, fans, or incense, to traditional hand made products such has had drawn folding fans, and chopsticks. Enjoy your lunch in one of the local restaurants, or grab a coffee at the near-by cafe and enjoy the nature and fresh air.

Stop 5

After lunch, meet your tour conductor and make your way to Ninna-ji Temple on board our private vehicle. Once at Ninna-ji Temple, enter the great Nio gates of Ninna-ji and proceed to the palace of Ninna-ji Temple. Your tour conductor will show guide you through the palace structure and beautiful garden.

Stop 6

After leaving Ninna-ji temple, head towards Kinkakuji Temple, also known as The Golden Pavilion. Once at Kinkakuji Temple, walk around the temple grounds and towards the front of the Golden Pavilion. You will be shown the garden area of the temple grounds, and your tour conductor will share information about the importance of this iconic temple and structure.

After Kinkakuji Temple, board our private vehicle and make your way back to Osaka. You can ask follow up questions, or advice in Osaka from your tour conductor. Please specify your drop-off point to your tour conductor.

What's not included

For lunch, you will have free-time in a designated area where you can walk around and pick a lunch spot for you and your group.
