About this experience

PROGRAM :

We pick you up from your hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang city and then visit Cam Thanh Village. You will be Warmly welcomed by a local family of 3 generations with green tea. Then enjoy rowing a basket boat with the help of skillful local people, learning their traditional fishing techniques in the water coconut forest.

After That we bring you to Boat Station to get on local Boat to go to Thanh Ha- a pottery village. See how craftsmen making their products and enjoy the peace of the village. Next stop will be a rice paddy field to take photos with water Buffalo or you can ride on water Buffalo and learn how to keep balance on Water Buffalo.
After that You go to a local family house to join cooking class & Enjoy lunch with Food you have cooked. Then ,you will enjoy a traditional therapeutic foot bath with medicinal herbs and massage. Tour ends & send you back Hotel

Stop 1

Visit Tra Que Vegetable village and join a local family to see how they live. Enjoy welcome drinks with tea made by them whilst they share stories about their lives in the village, and then Intergrate into some farming activities such as cultivating soil, carrying seaweed, dancing on seaweed, picking Vegetable, planting vegetable in soil and watering .

Visit Bay Mau Village to see Water Coconut Jungle and Row in a bamboo basket boat giving you a good chance to fish for crabs. You will learn how locals throw out the big fishing nets and you will get to try this for yourself.

You will see locals using leaves of Water Coconut to make watches, fish, and grasshoppers from which they will then give to you as memorable gifts.

Stop 3

we will board a covered wooden boat for our trip to Cam Kim (life jacket provided on boat), where you will see how the wooden boats are made, the art of wood carving and how rice wine is made.

Back to the boat and off to visit some local families, where you will see the art of noodle and rice paper making and sleeping mat making. Once your tutors have shown you how it is done, you will then take turns to see how good your skills are in these particular ancient crafts. This activity is fun and is also a great time to meet and talk to local people.
