About this experience

If you like history and the countryside, want to try local food and wine, to see a lot in one day, and be picked and returned just behind your ship's gangway at your desired time – not a problem!

We start by driving you to the slopes of Srdj Mountain – the best views of the Old Town of Dubrovnik and surrounding islands

We descend to Dubrovnik Old Town – the medieval center of the city encircled by city walls. Our normal private walking tour lasts 1,5 hours. During this time the tour would cover all major sites. 1-hour free time before continuing with a drive to Peljesac.

After 1 hr drive, we come to Peljesac, visiting one of the local wineries for wine tasting – great wine, liqueur, organic olive oil together with small bite-sized delicacies.

A short walking tour of Old Town of Ston included (a chance to marvel at massive Gothic city walls, Kastio Fort, charming Ston streets and squares, and 14 ct. salt panes)
Possible additional stop for lunch in Ston (please inquire beforehand)

Stop 1

Slopes of Srdj Mountain – a must-see, a great panorama of the Old Town of Dubrovnik and surrounding islands. Guests will be taken to the best panoramic spots that cannot be reached by cable car.

Stop 2

Private walking tour with a local licensed guide through the magical medieval center of Dubrovnik. Stopping at all major sites (Main Street -Stradun, Sponza Palace, Rector's Palace, Cathedral, Saint Blaise Church, The Bell Tower -with informative and interesting commentaries by our guide.

Stop 3

Peljesac peninsula is famous for its great wines, especially the red Plavac Mali variety. We will visit a local boutique winery in the village of Ponikve – great wine, liqueur, and organic olive oil tasting together with homemade bite-sized delicacies.

A medieval small town famous for its great city walls – the second-largest preserved fortification system in the world, its charming Gothic center, and its salt pans – major money generator in medieval times (salt was very dear and in high demand in those days). Great place to taste Mali Ston oysters or famous Ston almond pasta cake.
