About this experience

This tour is an excellent alternative to Tortuga Island to avoid the crowds and is a great short and sweet experience perfect for families with children, couples, and singles. Cruise home to the sunset.

IMPORTANT GREEN SEASON UPDATE
Due to the green season our sunset tours will be operating during daytime hours (11-3:30pm) from May 15, to December 15th, to avoid the afternoon rain.

Join us on a very unique and exclusive Sunset Tour to Playa Fantasia. Our sunset tour departs at 1:30 pm from Playa Herradura cruising 40 minutes up the Gulf of Nicoya to a secluded beach.

Playa Fantasia is a beach, accessible only by water, a beach with sprawling jungle, reef formations, white sand and turquoise waters. Untouched and full of marine and wildlife such as Monkeys, Scarlet Macaws, Turtles, and of course, all our rescued animals.

At Playa Fantasia, you have access to boogie boards, paddleboards, surfboards, hammocks and beach loungers.

Playa Fantasia is a secluded beach where our client stop to enjoy the naturally untouched jungle that flows to the beach. Lounge chairs, hammocks, boogie boards, paddle boards, and snorkel equipment is all available free of charge. Our chef prepares a great light lunch at the beach before departing.

We do this by keeping our guest list to only 25 passengers to ensure a unique and intimate experience for all clients. Come and join us on one of our public tours to the closest white sand beach to Jaco! Accessible only by water, secluded and enchanting.

There is plenty of shaded areas on board, please prepare to spend majority of your tour in direct or indirect sunlight. For safety reasons spray sunscreens are not permitted.
We board the large catamaran from small tenders from the beach. Long dresses, and pants are not recommended.
You will be notified by a representative of your pickup time, our transportation will only wait 5 minutes at each stop before moving to the next stop. If you miss your transportation time, your tour will be cancelled without refund.
ID is needed to use paddle boards, boogie boards, surf boards and snorkel gear.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE*** GREEN SEASON MAY - NOVEMBER ****WE DO NOT RUN A SUNSET TOUR. Our sunset tour during these months operates from 11am - 3:30 pm to avoid rain, and rough waters in the evening during these months. During these months there is rarely a SUNSET and safety is our priority - always! Please note when booking these months we will contact you to arrange pickup, which is will be between 9:45 - 10:30 am during GREEN SEASON.

• Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
• Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions. Not recommended for guests with limited mobility. 
• Please bring sunscreen. Although there is a great deal of shade on the boat, chances are that majority of your tour you could be exposed to direct sunlight. 
• Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
