The Ming Dynasty murals of Fahai Temple can be regarded as one of the greatest paintings in the world. Fa Hai temple that highlights the peak of mural art of the Ming dynasty was completed at 1443, 15 skilled royal painters, 169 royal craftsmen finished this amazing art, which covers an area of 236.7 square meters and divided into ten sides. In 1937, one British female journalist used cameras to record the long dusty art treasure house at Fa Hai temple. Fortunately, Angela Latham herself was an expert muralist. Her words and photos was published in the London News, “ a lovely landscape appeared, with seated Pusa, floating in the clouds, a pine tree and waterfall, mountains, rocks and flowers, splendid vast design, in true fresco technique, here surely unseen, unsung, is one of the world’s greatest paintings” this made Fa Hai Temple enjoy a high reputation at home and abroad.
