About Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur 

Kumbhalgarh Fort is the second most important fort of Rajasthan after Chittorgarh. Located at a distance of 64 kms from Udaipur in Rajasmand district, Kumbhalgarh Fort is easily accessible from the city of Udaipur. This unconquerable fortress is secured under the kind protection of the Aravali ranges. It was built by Maharana Rana Kumbha in the 15th century.

It is as World Heritage Site Included in Hill Forts of Rajasthan.

Ranakpur is a quaint town in Rajasthan and one of the five most important pilgrimage places of Jainism. Ranakpur is tucked away in a remote valley in the Aravali mountain range and is situated around 96 km north of Udaipur in the Pali district.This beautiful, serene place is renowned for some amazingly carved Jain temples constructed in amber stone around the year 1439 AD.

Ranakpur. " Ranakpur jain temple construction commenced by Dharanashah, underneath the patronage of Maharana Kumbha, then ruler of Mewar. The creator who oversaw the project was named Deepaka. there’s an inscription on a pillar close to the most shrine stating that in 1439 Deepaka, an architect, created the temple at the direction of Dharanka, a loyal Jainism this temple was restored time to time and grand white marble temple occupies an area of roughly sixty x sixty two meters on a platform alongwith 1444 pillares.
