Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Following a pick up from your cruise ship or your Corfu hotel, your tour kicks off with a visit to Kanoni - rich in nature, history and culture and once the capital and heart of Corfu! Here you will have the chance to enjoy sweeping views of perhaps the most photographed spot of Corfu: the quaint, whitewashed church of Vlacherna and behind it the tiny Mouse Island! Legend has it that this little island is the petrified ship that had taken Odysseus back to Ithaca, his home port. Take out your camera and capture the spectacular views and if you are lucky, watch planes landing and taking off right over your head as Kanoni is located just next to Corfu Airport!

2

Get back to your air-conditioned vehicle and enjoy the short drive to your next stop, the Mon Repos estate, which was the site of Corfu's ancient city, the Palaeopolis! Enjoy a walk under the shade of the tall trees and witness ruins from ancient times that have been excavated and can be now seen on the grounds. Opt to visit the Mon Repos Palace, once home of the Greek Royal Family and now operating as a museum housing many of the ancient artefacts that have been discovered in the area. A perhaps lesser-known fact is that Prince Phillip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth of the UK, was born in this Palace in 1921!

3

The last stop on this tour is the enchanting Corfu Town, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007! Take a stroll through its quaint cobblestone streets- ‘’Kantounia’’ in Corfiot dialect - and discover its most important landmarks such as the Old Fortress, the Palace of St. Michael and St. George and the Town Hall! Walk along the famous Liston promenade, where access was once restricted to nobility, discover hidden gems in the numerous souvenir shops and pause to enjoy a coffee or sample the delectable local cuisine in one of the welcoming cafés and restaurants! At the end of your easy tour, meet your driver and enjoy a comfortable drive back to your hotel or your cruise ship in good time for your departure!
