This trip meets and ends at Glacier Point (personal auto transport is necessary). After viewing the high country from Glacier Point, we embark on a 6.8 mile trek to both the summit of Sentinel Dome (8,122′) and to the Fissures and Taft Point. This route presents a more strenuous first mile while the remainder of the trip is more easy to moderate. This can be a great intro-hike for the family that includes awesome scenery, experiences, and accomplishments!

We will meet at the east end near the trail that heads out to Glacier Point. After seeing the view, we will drive up to the Sentinel Dome Parking Lot to start the main hike.
