About this experience
Bulgaria’s oldest winter resort – Borovets offers excellent conditions for ski touring. That exciting winter activity will allow you to ski both on and off-piste and make you more independent from using ski lifts. What makes the touring skis unique is that with the touring skis you can both ski downhill and climb uphill. Skiing downhill is very similar to alpine skiing. Special ‘skins’ that will prevent you from sliding backwards are attached to the bottom of the ski for climbing.

Hire touring skis from the brands Dynastar and Völkl in Borovets. Collect and return your equipment from our centrally-located ski rental shop. The 1-day rental includes touring ski, poles, boots and skins hire. To guarantee your satisfaction we renew ⅓ of our ski pairs with new ones every year.
