Itinerary:
At 8:00 a.m: Tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotels or resorts in Da Nang or Hoi An and take about one hour drive to get to My Son. You just relax in the car and listen the history from our guide and enjoy the beautiful countryside view on the way.
About 2 hours, guide will take you to all the temples and also enjoy the Apsara dance.
About 11:45. Lunch with cold beer/soft drinks.
About 13:15. Spend 10 minutes to enjoy the marble handicraft carving family. Then guide will take you up the Water Mountain by elevator. Marble Mountains is the cluster of five small mountain following 5 important elements of Universe : Water, Metal, Fire, Wood, Earth , they look like 5 fingers lying close to the sea. There are several caves, caverns, pagodas, many stairs and 2 spectacular viewing points.
Your excellent local guide will and explain deeply the history of the sites and he also help you to take beautiful & memorable photos.
About 16:00. Return to the hotel.
My Son consists of 70 architectural works ranging from small to great size. It used to be holly land of Cham people from the 4th to 13th century. In the 4th century, in the King Bhadravarman’s time, after the construction of Tra Kieu, the religious center of Cham kingdom was set in My Son to welcome royal members, aristocrats and host important religious rituals. Continually developing through nearly nine centuries, My Son witnessed the glorious, prosperous as well as declining time of Champa kingdom.
About 12:00. You will return to Hoi An to enjoy a great lunch from riverside restaurant or real authentic local food and relax for more energy to continue the tour to Marble Mountains in the afternoon.
About 14:00, before taking the elevator up to visit the Water Mountains, you will have about 5 or 10 minutes to enjoy the marble handicraft carving family, then our guide will take you up the Water Mountain which is the largest mountain at Marble Mountains and also known as Ngũ Hành Sơn, is the cluster of five small mountain following 5 important elements of Universe : Water, Metal, Fire, Wood, Earth , made of limestone and marble. They look like 5 fingers lying close to the sea. There are several caves, caverns, pagodas, many stairs and 2 spectacular viewing points. They are also home to several Buddhist sanctuaries and Hindu grottoes which are much visited places of worship for the local population. The Marble Mountain has become one of the must-see destinations for those who enjoy the beauty of nature and want a respite from the busy urban areas.
