The pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and cloisters all have unique characteristics. There are some highlights in the garden that you can't miss.

Stop 2

Next to the Bund, a water front area in central Shanghai. The Shanghai Bund on which you can embrace the best cityscape, feast on the rich architectural fashions ( Gothic, Baroque, Rome, Renaissance, Classic and Mixed Eastern and Western style, etc.) and know why Shanghai is glorified as "Paris of the East". There are a number of attractions in the area, such as Shanghai World Financial Center, The Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Century Park, Century Boulevard, Jinmao Tower etc. It is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Shanghai.

After lunch, continue you tour to Nanjing Road. Nanjing Road enjoys the reputation as China No. 1 commercial center. It was the earliest commercial street in Shanghai since the city opened to the outside world. For visitors to Shanghai, Nanjing Road is an absolute must-see, on par with a visit to the Bund itself. You can find restaurants, night clubs, local shops and markets where a food lover or a shopaholic can certainly go on a rampage.

Later, you'll visit Jade Buddha Temple, which is one of the most important Buddhist temples in Shanghai. The highlight is a transcendent Buddha crafted from pure jade, one of five shipped back to China by the monk Hui Gen at the turn of the 20th century. Recent visitors reported thoroughly enjoying their trip to the Jade Buddha Temple, calling the attraction both tranquil and beautiful. The artwork is awe-inspiring, with many travelers strongly suggesting future visitors take time to admire the uniqueness of the Jade Buddha.
