About this experience

Azerbaijan recently started to became famous in winter category of tourism. The winter tourism complexes opened in Shahdag and Tufandag recenlty.

Mount Shahdagh is a mountain peak of the Greater Caucasus range, located in Gusar district of Azerbaijan, close to the border with Russia. The elevation of the peak is 4,243 metres above the sea level. Prehistoric cave dwellings have been discovered at the base of the mountain indicating habitation for over 9,000 years.

Shahdag Winter Tourism complex is perfect for beginner or advanced skiers. Your guide will help you get set up with your rental equipment and lesson (optional). This tour also includes sightseeing stops at Mestdergah waterfall and Qecresh forest
