Your guide will have plenty to tell you about the history and the legends of all the gods and heroes, such as almighty Zeus, Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, Poseidon, God of the Sea, Dionysus, God of Wine and many more. Through timeless myths you will explore the Theater of Dionysus, drama's first home; the resplendent Propylaea; the sacred Erechtheion; the Temple of Athena Nike and, of course, the magnificent Parthenon, perhaps the world's most iconic building. Your meeting point is at the exit of the Acropolis metro station.
The closest metro station is ACROPOLIS. If you get there by metro, follow the signs for the exit “Makriyani/Dionisiou Aeropagitou”.
It might be busy, so look for the guide with an Alternative Athens Sign.

Important notes

• For this tour you will need entrance tickets to the Acropolis Archaeological site (not included in the tour price) - Adult ticket: 30 euros
Children aged 0–18 and individuals from EU countries under 25 are entitled to free admission.
They must still reserve a free (“zero-value”) ticket and present a valid identity card or passport on the day of the tour.
You can buy your tickets online from the official website www.hhticket.gr (please make sure you choose the correct time slot for the tour) or contact us and we can arrange them for you.

• Your tour starts at the Acropolis Metro station exit Makriyanni/Areopagitou in front of the station's brown sign (https://maps.app.goo.gl/vhnHcrvk52Ps4BsM6). Your guide will be waiting for you right at the station’s brown sign on the exit holding an Alternative Athens Sign.

• Strollers, backpacks and big bags are not allowed on the Acropolis

• Comfortable walking shoes and sun hat are recommended

• Minimum numbers apply. Cancellation after confirmation may occur if the minimum participant number is not met. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, you will be offered an alternative tour date or full refund.
