The seaside is an option you can decide on tour if you really like walking. The seafront promenade is the classic Sunday stroll for the Neapolitans. We can admire the beautiful view of the bay dominated by Mt. Vesuvius from via Partenope, where the most exclusive hotels of the city are located.

If selected on tour, it makes a good pair with Via Caracciolo and the seafront. Enjoy the views of the bay and the city from the seaside Castel dell'Ovo, the oldest standing fortification in Naples. Its name comes from a legend: a sorcerer placed a magical egg in the foundation of the castle. If the egg breaks, the building supposedly will be destroyed, and Naples will experience a series of disastrous events...

Spaccanapoli is the most important historical street in the city. It crosses the heart of the historic center of Naples. Along Spaccanapoli, we will see all the main churches and historic buildings. It bustles with the activities of the students of the large University of Napes. We shall take a feel for its bustling life and if you wish we can stop at one of several pastry or pizza places for a quick break.

San Gregorio is the pulsing core of the Nativity Making district in Old Naples. We will observe the unique creations of these craftsmen, your guide will introduce you to this old and important minor art. If you wish there will be some free time to explore on your own this area.

The Cathedral of Naples is a 14th-century French Gothic church which is the seat of the Naples Archidiocese. The Cathedral is also home to the Crypt and the Chapel of Naples Patron Saint, San Gennaro. Here takes place the Festival of San Gennaro, famous for the "blood liquefaction" ceremony that takes place three times a year!
