Stop 1

Tan Teng Niah is the last Chinese Villa in Little India painted with rainbow colour. It embodies an often overlooked story of the days when small Chinese industries operated alongside the cattle and rattan businesses at Little India.

Finally, the garlands are brought to Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple, one of the oldest Hindu temples in Singapore. The spiritual atmosphere and the intricate sculptures and paintings inside are admired. There is also an opportunity to make an offering with the garland and receive a blessing.
