About this experience

Santorini is well known for its long wine-making tradition. The island is covered with vineyards and its volcanic soil and unique climate give a special flavor to the grapes. You are invited into the deep countryside of Santorini to learn about our production history since 1660! Enjoy a lovely drive towards a scenic winery and taste an exquisite variety and personal favorite, that matures in French oak barrels. Later, follow an exhibition and a guided tour, led by a sommelier, in a luxury and modern winery followed by a visit to the unique Wine Museum to see some of the oldest vines on the island, which are over 150 years old. At your own pace, you will see the production areas and relax in a courtyard, so you will realize why everyone who visits Santorini, is longing for the summer days and sunsets with a glass in hand.

Visit Santo Wines Winery, located on the rim of the magnificent caldera of Santorini. It has a very rich history, unique architecture and amazing views. Attend an optional 30-minute guided tour led by a sommelier and learn about quality, enology and flavor alchemy. Package includes: Wine tasting of four (4) wine varieties accompanied with assorted snacks.

Explore Koutsoyannopoulos Wine Museum, awarded among the top 10 Wine Museums of the World. Located on the premises of the Family Winery is the only natural underground wine museum in all of Greece, which has an 8m depth and 300m length (like a Labyrinth). Learn about the history of wine making from 1660, accompanied with an audio guide, which is in 21 languages! Package includes: Wine tasting of four (4) different wines accompanied with crackers & chocolate.

Follow a wine exhibition in Argyros Estate winery. Under the guidance of specialized Wine Educators. get detailed information about the Estate Argyros Winery produce and the particularities of the vineyards of Santorini. For all wine lovers, this tour offers a nice introduction to the indigenous grapes of Santorini and the story of Estate Argyros, featuring a selection of four (4) current vintage wines, accompanied with an assortment of fine Greek cheese and bread sticks.
