Mahatma Gandhi Museum is located along Jubilee Garden Chowk in the City of Rajkot, Gujarat, India. This was the old high school know as Alfred High School where Gandhiji did his initial schooling.
Museum depicts Journey of Ghandhiji from “Mohandas” to “Mahatma” by visiting various Galleries showing life events and digitized 3D projections which give better understanding of what Mahatma Gandhi’s life was and how he came to be the Father of Nation for millions of Indians by leading India Freedom movement and ultimately India’s Independence.
The museum paints beautifully thru each halls (36 in all) the childhood, growth and the later years of Mahatmaji's life with comprehensive summary of many facets of Gandhi’s family, life & events & philosophy. It contains various aspects of his life his principles, his days in Africa, people who had strong influence in his life, his letters.
