TOUR PROGRAM :

 8:00 a.m : Our Tourguide will pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang ( Pick up by car in Da Nang , Then Transfer you to Hoi an to use Bicycle ) or Hoi an , then you will cycle around Hoi An towards Van Lang fishing village and Bay Mau water coconut forest - about 7 hectares, surrounded by mangrove forests, canals, houses covered by coconut water leaf. This place acted as a shelter for people and local soldiers during the Vietnam War, but now it is famous for producing vast amounts of  Water coconut leaf products.

On the way you will make stops at the local market , rice Paddy fields, cemetery, school ...

Upon  arriving to  the village you are welcomed by a family on the edge of the river. They will  take you in basket boats to learn their traditional fishing techniques within the water coconut forest trees.

Cycling through rice fields on peaceful paths, well away from the tourist trails, you will arrive at Tra Que vegetable village - About 150 farmers and 400 owners live on site, cultivate about 20 types of vegetables and herbs including mint, salad, basil, cilantro, and broccoli among others. From the 40 hectares of land 8 tons of Tra Que vegetables are sold each year. The farmers do not use pesticides or GMO, instead using natural fertilizers, including a kind of seaweed found in the river and harvested by gardeners every morning.

To Tra Que village, you will be warmly greeted  by  a Local family with 3 generations  , a welcome drink  with "basil juice", stroll through the village and meet local people who work in the garden. The local farmer will teach you all about cultivation methods and how to protect developing vegetable from the insects as well as join the farmers in preparing gardening activities such as raking the ground, sowing, watering greens, transplanting and tending greens.

Then enjoy a foot bath with medicinal herbs, traditional therapeutic practice and Prepare lunch with a local family, You will learn how to make “Tam Huu” spring roll, “Xeo” pancake. Your lunch will consist of many local delicacies including “Tam Huu” spring roll, “Banh Xeo” or local pancake of people in Centre of Viet Nam. 

  After lunch, take a rest and  return to your hotel. Tour finish.
