This day tour of Jinja & source of the Nile Experience is an Adventure from Uganda’s capital Kampala or Entebbe international airport to Jinja the adventure Capital City of Uganda for a perfect way to experience adventurous activities with our first stop at the Cultural Ssezibwa falls, Mabira forest for a forest nature walk. Later embark on a boat ride to the exact spot where the River Nile separates from Lake Victoria on its journey to the Mediterranean Sea.

Our driver guide will pick you up from your preferred hotel or residence in Kampala or Entebbe at around 6:30 am, Embark on Your journey driving along Kampala - Jinja Highway through sugar plantations, tea plantations and colourful roadside fruit and vegetable markets. Your first stop will be to visit the Sezibwa Falls, a Buganda cultural heritage site in Mukono District where you will be enlightened on the origins of the Sezibwa Falls and the river. It is also a cultural site with folk stories and traditional healers. This cultural visit gives you a glimpse into the traditional beliefs of the Buganda kingdom and great photograph moments from the beautiful sceneries.

Stop at the Namawojjolo Market to enjoy a light snack of roasted Chicken on the street along the jinja highway for your breakfast.

Later Visit the Mabira Forest Reserve, which is the largest rainforest for an adventurous nature or forest walk with a local guide. While on these forest trails, you will be in position to see and learn about abundant Flora and Fauna with a number of mammals, primates, birds, butterflies and tree or plant species. The forest is home to over 300 species of birds. After this 2 hours forest walk, we Will return to the road and drive to Jinja town for our next activity

Your next stop is the Jinja Nile Bridge on the Kyabazinga Highway, where you will stop for Photographs on the new Jinja Cable bridge while enjoying a great view of the Nile.

Proceed to Kingfisher for a boat ride to the famous historical and the original Source of the Nile, the Speke memorial Monument where the British explorer Speke first discovered the River Nile the Longest River in Africa with Lake Victoria and the Gandhi Monument. At that exact point, you will see where the Nile waters start to flow and where it joins Lake Victoria the largest freshwater lake in Africa. Proceed to the Reptile village and later transfer to Jinja Town for your lunch and a drive through the City of jinja known as the oldest industrial city. Later transfer back to Kampala to proceed to your Hotel or Airport.
