This full-day tour to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary begins with a pick-up from your Hotel at 6:00 am heading North along the Kampala - Gulu highway for your journey to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola District. On arrival at the Sanctuary, You will be briefed by a Ranger on the dos and don'ts of this Rhino trek. Start your Walk in search of the Rhinos, depending on their location you may need to drive closer before you start the trek as the ranger guide gives you information about their behaviour and how you out to behave when you meet them. Once you locate them have a chance to view them at a safe close distance and are allowed one hour in their presence. There are also chances of sighting other Animals if lucky like the Bush bucks, Oribis, duikers, monkeys, Gazelles and many different bird species.
After your trek, enjoy your lunch at the Sanctuary Restaurant before embarking on your journey back to your drop-off location in Kampala.
