Enjoy personal encounters with some of our colorful feathered inhabitants.
Depart the cruise port or hotel near Philipsburg in an air-conditioned minivan. Listen to informative commentary from your driver as you traverse the village roads and green hillsides on route to the bird park.
On arrival explore the garden habitat of exotic and colorful species of birds.
Staff will disseminate information on the species of birds at the park. Wander leisurely amidst species such as black headed caique, brown throated conure, ring neck parakeet, sun conure and others.
Feeding the birds is fascinating & unique, a truly up-close encounter. See plants and vegetation, some of which are medicinal & nutrition for the birds.
On return, stop for ice cream, and an opportunity to sample or purchase a variety of Dutch Gouda cheese, one of the most popular cheeses worldwide. Then back to port or stay in town to shop, dine or swim and return to port at your leisure.
