About this experience

One of the smaller towns, Kitulagala, is known for its adventure sports.
There are many trees and hills surrounding the town. In addition to everything else, the epic 1957 Oscar-winning film "Bridge on the River Kwai" by David Lean was filmed here. The majority of tourists who engage in adventure sports are from different regions of Sri Lanka. The primary attraction in Kitulgala is whitewater rafting. Additionally, it's well renowned for pursuits like jungle trekking, waterfall abseiling, stream sliding, and confidence leaping. Last but not least, there's cave and river exploration.

Pickup at the hotel and visit to Advancers Water Rafting.

Travellers will be picked up in an air-conditioned vehicle and safely transported to Kithulgala town to partake in white-water rafting adventures. Once you arrive in Kitulgala, start your white water rafting adventure and navigate 5 big rapids and 4 minor rapids on the gorgeous Kelani River. Anyone over the age of 10 may participate in this sport with the assistance of rafts, safety equipment, and a thorough safety briefing from our white water rafting experts. Enjoy a river soak after the excursion. After gaining some experience with water rafting, guests can enjoy a Sri Lankan lunch before relaxing by the river.

We will return to our accommodation in Safford after an exciting day in a small town.
