About this experience

Our tour includes the most attractive places to visit in la Fortuna Area, you can take a walk at the Arenal Observatory Lodge where you can enjoy beautiful trails full of rain forest , two small hanging bridges and a visit to Rio Danta waterfall which is one of the refreshing waterfalls in the area .If you wish you can swim on it to relax for some minutes. After this, we hike the trails for about one hour and a half finding some of the wildlife of the zone like frogs, birds, and luckily monkeys getting to an amazing viewpoint to see and take pictures of the Arenal Volcano and Lake. After this we visit an Organic Farm where we can enjoy a delicious Costa Rican lunch. Ready to continue, we will start with a more intense hiking at the Arenal Volcano lava fields trails where we can explore the old volcanic rocks from the big eruption in 1968. You must climb in some areas making it a great volcanic experience. We will be back around 5:30 pm to the hotels.

Este recorrido ofrece una experiencia inolvidable de senderismo a través de senderos marcados con los restos de los flujos de lava anteriores del impresionante y majestuoso Volcán Arenal. La atracción principal de La Fortuna es el Volcán Arenal con su forma de cono casi perfecta y una altura de 1633 metros. A lo largo de la caminata descubrirá la abundante flora y la fauna que habita en un bosque en regeneración. Su guía naturalista le explicará sobre la increíble historia y actividad que el volcán ha sufrido durante sus diferentes fases eruptivas. Después de la caminata, si lo desea, puede elegir entre las aguas termales más populares en el área donde puede relajarse y disfrutar de las aguas calentadas por las venas volcánicas.
