We will meet a the cruise terminal or other preferred accommodation and head directly to Lipica. A ride in a comfortable up to date clean and air conditioned van takes about 45 minutes. We accept only up to 8 persons for this private excursion.
On the way trough a beautiful Slovenian land your English speaking driver will introduce you our country in terms of history, politics, facts and other interesting things.
As we arrive to Lipica stud farm your driver/ escort will drop you off at the entrance and give you the tickets (included in price) for the guided tour throughout the farm. There you will enjoy a guided walk beneath the crowns of mighty trees, enter the world of Lipica through the Museum of the Lipizzaner or just relax and enjoy the beauty and energy of this beautiful park.
The Lipica Stud Farm is one of the most beautiful cultural and historical monuments in Slovenia, A tradition of breeding on of the most elegant studs in the world is over 430 years old here.
After our agreed time (no less than 2 hours but can stay longer if the group agrees) we will meet again and head back to Koper
As we meet again after approx 2 hours we will head back to Koper in a smooth and relaxing 45 minutes ride trough the picturesque carst region in Slovenia and Italy. We will drive trough the city of Trieste which was the 2nd most imoprtant city at the times of Austro- Hungarian monarchy. Right after Vienna.
On the drive- trough you will get all the information about the city, culture, history and other facts. After that we will drive to Koper as out tour concludes.
Before we arrive to Koper we can also make a reservation at a local family run restaurant where some great wine and authentic or international food is served at affordable prices.
After that or if we skip that the tour concludes in Koper under your ship or another preferred location or we can drop you off in the Koper old town so you can walk trough the town on your own. The old town is 10 minutes of walking away from the cruise ship terminal.
