Hello I'm Francisco, I'm Mexican of French Mixteco Origen from my Mom. My Dad was white European so I'm a Mestizo. As a kid I spent Summer Holidays in those towns known as Pueblos Magicos. I'm a proud Mixteco who at early age developed the passion for The Traditional Mexican Cuisine (Only Cuisine UNESCO awards as an Intangible World Heritage due to The Diversify Ancestry Civilizations). We'll visit plenty of places so It's essential & important to come hungry, I guarantee we will sate your appetite with lots of food options.
You will sample, taste and savor a variety of flavors from different parts of Mexico in safe and cleaning environments. You will try fresh seafood & ceviches, home barbecue & variety of tacos (Al Pastor, barbecue, seafood, beef, etc.). Also, you will try Antojitos Mexicanos (small dishes) like Quesadillas, Tamales, Salbutes etc., fresh tropical juices, Aguas Frescas, ice cream, crepes. We wrap up the evening stopping at an authentic chocolate location for a last chance of flavors; like desserts or a new favorite refreshing beverage. Chocolate flavors is a must here. Perhaps try the corn or carrot cakes; my favorites.
While trying variety of food you will also learn stories and tales of the origin of such flavors, and how those have made Playa del Carmen an interesting new culinary spot in The Caribbean.
