About this experience

Glaciers are melting at alarming speeds. In the South-East of Iceland there is a very deep lagoon, the deepest lake in Iceland, 284m/932ft. Due to the melting this lagoon has formed. The glacier is Breiðamerkurjökull, a part of Vatnajökull, our biggest glacier and the biggest glacier in Europe(outside of the arctic regions). We start early from Reykjavik and visit a lot of places on the way. There is an option to sail on the lagoon(during summer). If you want to do this tour during winter, we recommend doing it in 3 days, two nights. Contact us for prices.

We take you on this tour and on the way we drive through endless sands, lava fields, see glaciers and volcanoes, waterfalls and finally the glacier lagoon and the diamond beach. If this is not attracting enough for one day, then I don't know what is. Come with us and enjoy Iceland at it's best. We use a luxury Mercedes Benz V-Class for this tour. # There is an option to extend this tour by staying one night at a country hotel.
