Sigiriya is the number one tourist attraction of Sri Lanka and the most visited site. This place is recognized as the eighth wonder of the ancient world. 660ft (200meters) height natural granite rock has been converted into a well protected incredible fortress between 477 495 CE. The fortress complex includes remnants of a ruined palace, surrounded by an extensive network of fortifications, vast gardens, ponds, canals, alleys and fountains.

Dambulla Cave temple is the most visited temple of Sri Lanka and a top tourist attraction. This ancient Buddhist temple was constructed in 103 BC and 89-77 BC and there are five caves which are belong to five different centuries. When you visit the temple, you will see that those five caves are full of Buddhist murals, colorful paintings and Buddha statues. This UNESO world heritage site is a place you must visit.
