Time to explore the shops and attractions of the historic township of Tanunda. Established by Charles Flaxman cica 1848, the township of Tanunda takes its name from the Aboriginal word for watering hole. Grab a coffee, or a souvinir as you meander along this quaint township's high street.

From Tanunda, we make our way to the beautiful and iconic Turkey Flat Vineyards, a passionate family-owned winery with a proud history dating back to 1847. Set within its own picturesque vineyard, Turkey Flat offers a warm welcome as the hosts guide you through a delightful, structured tasting of their finest wines.

Afterward, we settle down to an incredible regional platter lunch featuring the freshest produce of the Barossa Valley. This gourmet spread includes local meats, fresh breads, cheeses, pâté, and an assortment of other local delights, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available. There’s no need to rush, as you’ll have plenty of time to savor the meal, enjoy good company, and get to know your fellow travelers.
