After a short drive of approximately 30 minutes from your hotel, we will visit the César Manrique Foundation, which is located in the unique and spectacular house designed by César Manrique himself on his return from New York, when he decided to settle permanently in Lanzarote. It was located in the middle of a lava flow caused by the great eruptions that took place on the island between 1730 and 1736. In this construction, which occupies 3,000 square metres on a 30,000 square metre estate, the dialogue between the building and nature stands out, fusing volcano and architecture in a relationship of permanent respect.
Every Sunday morning, Teguise is transformed and the silence and tranquillity of its streets gives way to the hustle and bustle of a multitude of stalls and artisans. In its streets and squares, the most important street market in the Canary Islands takes place, where you can buy all kinds of handicrafts, ceramics, baskets, leather goods,... and natural and typical products, such as cheeses, wines and those made from cactus and aloe. Many artists also sell their most colourful works here and it is an event that no visitor should miss.
Take photos or a short walk along the world famous Famara Beach. Known by all the Sufis of the world.
