About this experience

Awaken the surfer within you during this introductory half day surfing experience. Even if it's your first time around a board, you'll be safely shown up to your first wave before you’ve even had time to worry about falling off. We have lots of amazing surfing locations at our finger tips and we'll find you the best waves the Byron-Ballina region has to offer.

From absolute beginners to anyone looking for a refresher course, these lessons include safety information about the beach and important surf and safety rules covering all the basics from the warm-up, to paddling, catching waves and standing.

In our small group surf sessions (maximum 7 surfers per Instructor), we offer tailored guidance to enhance your surfing skills, boost confidence, and deepen your understanding of the sport. Alongside refining your technique, you'll also embark on a journey of learning, adventure, and cultural immersion as we explore diverse destinations together.

Please meet us at least 20 mins prior to your lesson at our HQ 5/11 Fletcher St Byron Bay with swimmers, footwear for exploring and a towel. We are located in the small arcade in between No Bones and Temple Tattoo.

Meet 5/11 Fletcher Street - Please remember to arrive 20 minutes before your lesson starts. All you need to bring is swimwear and a towel!
