Is this a walking brew tour with a side of ghosts or a ghost tour with a side of brews?? While guests will have to decide that for themselves, we can tell you this is not an average "sit there and shut up " tour, but rather an opportunity to engage back and forth with a local Charlestonian. As a combined bar and ghost tour guests will visit two different bars where complimentary appetizer will be served at the first location and the guide will provide drink recommendations. As part of the tour guests will also walk by and receive history based ghost stories near graveyards, alleyways, and a haunted dungeon. The second bar is an historic building with a fantastic local beer selection. Guests will ward off the spirits with some "spirits." The tour will wind down at a hauntingly beautiful local park where one of the first female serial killers was hung. Don't stick around too long after the tour or you may end up a ghost yourself! (Please note we do not enter the graveyards.)
Visitors will have a very close view of several area graveyards including the famous Circular Congregational Church
Tours will pass by this historic location!
Guests will enter this haunted alleyway to find some substantive historic evidence of our dark past for themselves.
Guests will walk by this 250 year old structure to learn about some of the poor souls imprisoned in this dungeon!
Guests will finish the tour at this park that was once a public open space used for hanging and executions. Captain Bryan always saves the worst for last on this tour!
