Meet the driver and the tour leader in Bari and then head towards Matera. Together with the tour leader you will visit a typical cave house with audio guide service and taste the typical local liqueur, the “Amaro Lucano”. You will have some free time to spend on your own. You will be fascinated by the discovery of the existence of houses and churches dug into the rock, where some inhabitants lived until the first half of the 20th century.

Our tour with transfer starts from Bari, more precisely from the meeting point with all the participants of the Teatro Petruzzelli. We will leave towards Matera with the minivan with a driver.
Once in Matera there will be a guide waiting for us in the main square, from where we can admire the view on the Sassi. We will start the guided walking tour in the two oldest quarters carved into the rock: Sasso Barisano and Sasso caveoso, where we will have the opportunity to visit a cave church and a cave house. We will walk in the historical center and among the characteristic alleys of this unique city inserted among the UNESCO world heritage sites in 1993. We will have some free time before returning to Bari.
