Fall in love with one of the most impressive cities in the northern region. Guimarães is proudly the cradle of nationality, since in the distant twelfth century, here we gained independence from the kingdom of León, having been established as the capital of the Portucalense County. Since then, the city has maintained its defensive walls, castle, burgh and workers/peasants quarters until the 19th century. Today, we can still marvel at its medieval genesis, with the small squares and narrow streets, in addition to admiring the great monuments and cultural legacy present in every corner of the city.
On this visit we will explore the entire area inside and outside the walls, touching on points of interest and curiosities. We also climb by car to the highest point in the surroundings to have the greatest sightseeing spot and discover some hidden gems.
If you opt for the sunset/night visit, you will be dazzled with the vibe, lightning and views of the city!
