Wine and art. A match made in the proverbial.
Moorilla was founded as a winery (and one of Tasmania’s oldest, at that), the site is now also home to the world-famous Museum of Old and New Art—Mona. This full day lets you explore the
best of both.
Begin the day by sailing from Hobart to Mona on one of our super-flash fast ferries. On arrival, you can explore the museum and grounds until it’s time for lunch at The Source Restaurant—a temple to wine and long the culinary home of Moorilla—for a two-course lunch of delicious fresh, locally sourced produce and a matched Moorilla wine.
After lunch, you’ll indulge in the Moorilla Deep Dive, a small group tour of the winery, before heading to the underground tasting room for a comprehensive tasting of the Moorilla range.
After that, the afternoon is yours to spend as you like. You’ll return to Hobart on the 5pm ferry, full to the brim with wine and art.
