Experience a full day of wining and dining on-site at Moorilla and Mona. You’ll be transported from Hobart in luxury and style—in the Posh Pit of Mona’s ferry—and greeted with a glass of bubbles beneath James Turrell’s monumental Amarna.
From there it’s into the winery, where your expert Moorilla majordomo will guide you through the ins and outs of process and technique, before you drop into the barrel room for some tastings. Then it’s up to The Source Restaurant—Moorilla’s culinary home—for a long, long, long-lunch chef’s menu of exquisite local produce, paired with flagship wines from both Moorilla and our sibling winery, Domaine A. You’ll have a sommelier on hand to talk you through the finer points of the wine, as well as our food philosophy and the delectable dishes themselves.
After a quick look through some more of the site’s history, you’ll be set loose in Mona’s galleries to while away the last of the afternoon, before returning to Hobart in the Posh Pit.
