Remnants of German and English colonial history can still be seen in both of these towns.Swakopmund lies 32km to the north of Walvis Bay and is Namibia's premier seaside resort. It is a place of (German) colonial style buildings, well-stocked shops and a decent range of fine restaurants and bars. An unusual geographical fact about the town is that it is set between the wind-blown Namib Desert and the chilly waters of the Atlantic Ocean. It has palm-lined streets, seaside promenades and with it's pleasant summer climate and decent beaches, attracts, surfers, anglers and beach lovers.This  tour is journey through time. He will enable you to explore the Swakopmund township through this guided tour experience. You will get a unique chance to visit homes, try local traditional food at a family home, and get a glimpse of the daily life in the township.

Explore different cultures and meet local people in the community of Mondesa with your local, personal tour guide. Get to know Namibia better and learn about the different tribes in Namibia. You will be picked up from your accommodation in and around Swakopmund to go first to visit the market in the township.

Walk in the streets of Mondesa, while taking pictures of local houses. Visit schools and a kindergarden as well as community arts and craft projects. Learn about the click language from the Damara tribe. Experience a local meal prepared at a family home then end your tour with a live performance by a local choir from the township.
