Take a two-hour ride south of Ha Noi to Tam Coc - Bich Dong in Ninh Binh Province, known as Vietnam’s “Inland Ha Long Bay.” This UNESCO World Heritage site features a stunning system of limestone caves and historical relics from the Tran Dynasty.
Experience an exciting day highlighted by a two-hour boat ride along the Tam Coc Stream. Enjoy spectacular scenery as you glide through the river, surrounded by lush rice paddies and majestic limestone mountain peaks. Tam Coc means "three grottos": Ca grotto, Hai grotto, and Ba grotto. As the boat enters these grottos, you will feel a refreshing coolness, with stalactites resembling iridescent pearls. The grottos are adorned with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites of various shapes and colors that sparkle like gemstones.
After a delicious lunch of local cuisine at a riverside restaurant, we will take a short trip down a peaceful country road to Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital of the 10th and 11th centuries. Here, you will visit two temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, as well as Bich Dong Pagoda, which consists of three separate temples built in harmony with the mountain landscape, surrounded by the lush green canopy of ancient trees.
