Departure scheduled at 09:00 for the first stage of the tour: the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum. A park of great cultural and historical wealth, much smaller than Pompeii but no less fascinating, very well-kept and beautiful to admire. Better preserved due to the different type of eruption that overwhelmed it, the state of conservation of buildings and frescoes is surprising and the city still clearly visible lets you imagine how beautiful Herculaneum must have been at the time of the eruption. The visit to the site of Herculaneum lasts about 2 hours after which you will get back on the bus towards Cantina del Vesuvio Winery where you can enjoy an excellent lunch which has as its main course pasta with piennolo tomato, a variety of tomato grown exclusively on the volcanic slopes of Vesuvius accompanied by a wine testing and a short tour in the vineyards. After lunch you will head to the last stop of the tour: the Vesuvius Park. The visit to Vesuvius lasts about 2 hours, walking to the crater can be tiring at times but the sacrifice is amply rewarded by the spectacle of the volcano and the breathtaking view that can be enjoyed from above. Departure for the return to Naples at 16:00.
