Due to the thaws, the lake or cocha of Humantay was formed, paradisiacal lagoon of turquoise waters with a singular scenic beauty, the coloration of its waters is due to the minerals that are inside it and its greater depth is of approximately 4 meters.

Aquí, comenzaremos nuestra caminata hacia el lago Humantay ubicado a 4200 msnm (13779 pies).
Le recogeremos en su hotel entre las 3.30 h y las 4.00 h, en función de la ubicación. Después viajaremos en nuestro transporte privado a Mollepata, en el frondoso valle del río Apurímac, aproximadamente a 2 horas de trayecto desde Cusco. Después de Mollepata, seguiremos durante unos 45 minutos más para disfrutar de un desayuno rápido y cargar energía antes de nuestra caminata.
