Bentota River Safari is one of the popular outdoor activities throughout the local as well as foreigners. This boat ride will take approximate 1.5 hours and you will be able to explore large area of mangroves , rare animals such as crocodiles , water monitors as well as some inherent birds.

Ambalangoda is the village where the Hand-made wood carving and mask industry began in Sri Lanka. you will be able to witnessed skillful people work on some designs using woods and the gallery which consists of various kind of masks and wood carvings.
A stark reminder of the Boxing Day Tsunami that hit the island in 2004, the Tsunami Museum is one of the few places in the southern coast that tells us the story of how the natural disaster affected the local communities in the island, along with the resilience of these societies.
