Your tour will begin with a drive through Westmount on your way to Mount Royal. Along the way, you’ll pass by the famous St. Joseph’s Oratory, Canada’s largest church. At Mount Royal, you will take in beautiful views of the city skyline and nature and snap some pictures while you’re there.
Next, you will head to Notre-Dame Basilica. This magnificent Gothic Revival style church features incredible architecture and impressive stained glass window displays adorn the interior.
Your final stop on the tour is the Old Port of Montreal where you will board a St. Lawrence River Cruise (Seasonal). For 90 minutes, you’ll enjoy a relaxing ride on the river, taking in incredible views of the city and learning about the area’s fascinating history.
During the off-season (October - April) the boat ride is replaced by La Grand Roue, admission to La Grand Roue is included in the price of the tour.
Following the ride, your guide will drop you off back at your downtown accommodations.

Along the way you will pass multiple points of interest such as; the Golden Square Mile - located at the base of the mountain, this bustling neighborhood is known for its victorian-era architecture and affluent area, you will also pass Notre Dame des Neiges cemetery - the largest cemetery in Canada. Once you reach the top you will be taken to the very best view of the city at the Mont Royal Lookout where you will get a bird's eye, panoramic view of the entire city of Montreal including the Saint Lawrence River and the surrounding Appalachian mountain region.
Pass by some of the city’s most interesting areas including McGill university, downtown Montreal, and Chinatown. Once you reach the historic Old Montreal you will enjoy the rich history and take some pictures of some of the oldest buildings in the area, including the beautiful gothic-revival Notre Dame Basilica. The cobblestone streets and rich architecture will have you reaching for your camera for some great shots!
Take a relaxing cruise along the Saint Lawrence. Get some great views of Montreal while enjoying great history and commentary. (Operating May - November ONLY)
