An open Maasai market every Saturday, open from 0700hrs to 1800hrs and this is just on the high way from from Morogoro to the Tanzania capital city (DODOMA) just one hour drive from Morogoro. This area is quite safe walking during the day and there will be very many people Maasai and local people, being tourist should not make you worry. Here you will see Maasi selling and buying cows, goats. you will get a time to try local maasai barbecue mostly its goat meat, there is also a traditional maasai alcohol and its a real must do thing if it happens you are in Morogoro
