Florence, the Heart of Renaissance, the jewel of Tuscany and Italy!

We will pick you up and drive you straight to Florence, the capital of Tuscany and the symbol of Renaissance. While approaching the town we will cross the the region of Tuscany from west to east, famous for wine and olive oil production. Here you can admire the vineyards and olives on the hillsides and, in the summer, vast fields of sunflowers.

Once arrived in  Florence you will see all the main sights this beautiful town has to offer, starting from Michelangelo’s Square lookout and heading to the Duomo, Giotto’s Bell Tower, St. John Baptistry, Ponte Vecchio, Republic and Signoria Squares. If you wish so, you can have time for some shopping in the stores or at the leather markets. You will have about 3 hours to explore the centre of Florence.

Around 1.00pm we will leave Florence to head to the Chianti Region. Here we will visit a local winery surrounded by the rolling hills of Tuscany, vineyards and olive grooves. A light lunch with local delicacies will be paired with excellent wines produced in this area.

A great day to experience the city and the Tuscan countryside, the perfect combination to discover the main destinations in our region, a day to combine architecture, wine and food!

After the tour we will drive you back to the port on time.
