About this experience

With our DMZ tour learn about the history of Korea and see the beautiful natural scenery around the DMZ. Visitors can have a more in-depth tour of the mysterious border while still being safe and enjoying themselves! Stop 1

Northwest of Seoul, the park displays materials and pictorials about North Korea, past

The Freedom Bridge was originally made to provide a walkway for Prisoners of War (POWs) from North Korea to South Korea, but not stand as a symbol of peace between the two countries. A hope that someday many families, friends, and loved ones can reunite. And usually decorated with ribbons or wish notes the bridge is a beautiful sight for visitors to see.

Stop 3

Found almost 30 years after the 1953 armistice agreement, a 2m by 2m tunnel was found that was thought to head to Seoul for a surprise attack. While North Korea denied everything, the tunnel is now a part of many DMZ tours. Visitors can now enjoy the large tunnel and learn more about the North Korean government's attempt to invade Korea.

Stop 4

At this observatory, on clear days you can see the propaganda village of North Korea

A sign of the once-unified Korea the station hypothetically could connect South Korea with China and Russia however due to the split the station is now seen as a sign of hope for unification.
